Disney+ has confirmed that Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is in development. No official release date has been announced, but it is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2024.

Creative Team

Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Ted Elliott (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) are writing the screenplay. Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced the previous five films, will return as producer.

Johnny Depp's Involvement

It is currently unknown if Johnny Depp will reprise his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow. Rumors have circulated that he may be replaced by a younger actor, but nothing has been confirmed.
